This architecturally designed residence and with its cleverly designed gardens and grounds is part of a small and very well landscaped "oasis" to the left of the Pacific Highway, only minutes from Moonee Beach. The property is divided into three pavilions.
The entry to the main house is via a stone stairway which leads through huge, old double carved Balinese doors - obviously there is a history to this artefact! Inside is a large open living, dining and kitchen area showing off extra high ceilings with fans and polished brush box flooring. The kitchen has an island oven and stove top so the chef is not left out when entertaining; it has a dishwasher and beautifully finished cupboards including a walk-in pantry. The internal laundry and separate guest toilet are nearby.
From the living area along a glassed walkway is the master bedroom with walk-in wardrobes, a huge powder room and full bathroom with spa bath. It also has its own courtyard garden. Through double doors from the bedroom is a balcony overlooking the lush gardens. The two car security garage and storage room is underneath this section of the house.
From the other side of the living areas, via a stone path, is the most sumptuously proportioned studio/lounge/sunroom, once again with the Balinese influence in its design. Wooden bi-folds open this room out to the private, inground swimming pool and entertaining area. There is white gravelling and simple tropical gardens surrounding the three pavilions.
The third pavilion is reached by another stone path surrounded by white gravelling and simple gardens. This consists of two bedrooms both with built-in wardrobes and they both share a full bathroom on the same level. There is a separate toilet shared by these bathrooms also.
This is a quality home, obviously built to the owners' standards who know Balinese architecture intimately. Its design delivers privacy for each and every person who lives in it.
